The “Slide Away” singer took to Instagram on Sunday to share a photo of herself lying in bed with two of her dogs. The image was accompanied by a caption about unconditional love.
“Waking up surrounded by animals is my favorite way to start a morning. I am immediately reminded to LOVE without conditions,” Cyrus wrote.
She continued: “They love back 100X …. all they ask is to be cared for in exchange for loyalty, reliability, and faithfulness. (reminds me of someone).”
Fans quickly started speculating that the “Wrecking Ball” hitmaker’s post meant that she was reflecting on her previous relationship.
“Ok @MileyCyrus is making me worry a lot [crying emoji] hope she ok [broken heart emoji] she miss Liam I can feel it she not coping but being strong for her fans and family friends,” one fan tweeted.
Another fan wrote, “Miley’s instas seem sad.” The caption was shared alongside a video from “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” that showed Kris Jenner crying before saying, “This is exactly what I was afraid of.”
“Of course I worry about Miley, I can only hope her family supports her and is by her side,” a third fan tweeted.

Cyrus also shared clips from her 2017 “Saturday Night Live” performance, in which she sang “I Would Die For You” from her sixth studio album, “Younger Now.”
“I felt that the grass whispered these lyrics into my ear,” the songstress captioned the post, adding that she thought it was a “direct message from nature.”
She also noted that it’s one of her “favorite songs” she’s written and that she penned the track “on a very special day.” Fans have long believed that the track was written about Cyrus’ relationship with Hemsworth.
At the time of the “SNL” taping on November 4, 2017, the “Hunger Games” star was backstage, and even surprised Cyrus during one of the episode’s sketches.
A fan pointed out that Hemsworth was present during the performance. “Miley’s def in her feels. I remember Liam watching her perform this from backstage SNL. I hope she’s okay,” the fan tweeted.

Cyrus’ posts came on the heels of her breakup with Kaitlyn Carter. People reported on September 21 that the pair are “not in a romantic relationship anymore,” but remain friends. Cyrus and Carter began dating in August after their breakups with Hemsworth and Brody Jenner, respectively.
The former Disney Channel star married her “The Last Song” costar in December 2018 after dating on and off for a decade. After the split announcement, Hemsworth filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
